Beyond Frames today announces what is likely the company’s most significant game project to date.
The company will develop and publish the very first Virtual Reality (VR) game based on the hugely popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise—a brand that has generated billions of dollars in annual revenue through its films and games over the years. The upcoming VR game, titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City, is currently in development by Cortopia Studios (a subsidiary of Beyond Frames) and is the result of a collaboration between Paramount Game Studios and leading VR publisher Beyond Frames Entertainment.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remains one of the most successful brands in film and gaming over the past few decades:

1989 (Gaming): Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game becomes Konami’s top-grossing title.
2014 (Movie): The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie grosses $485 million.

2023 (Movie): Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem grosses $180.5 million.
2023 (Retail): The brand surpasses $1 billion in annual retail sales.
